While the PSP version of the game was developed by Team 17 themselves, the DS version was outsourced to a developer by the name of Gamesauce. While this version shares some graphical and sound assets with the PSP version, everything else from the user interface to the physics feel so different that it could be considered a different game entirely.

It also has physics so off that not even moving in a straight line feels right, poorly transferred graphics that are left heavily pixelated, and a control setup that forces you to use the stylus to move the camera or select weapons. While use of the stylus would be expected, the lack of any alternative method means playing on a real DS quickly proves uncomfortable. A year after the release of Open Warfare, an enhanced version would see release on several systems.

And on the DS in single card play with up to 4 people which is great! Using the touch screen is cool brings a little somthing different to the Worms world. But deff anyone who likes Worms games check it out its a lot of fun.

Graphics are ok, not as good as the big screen version. Is fun to play, but not as interactive with the pad keys. Plays more with touch screen, not quite as fun. If I could use pad keys would be better. I wouldn't spend more on it. Fun game for younger person. I was trying to buy the Worms 2, but it is still out my price zone. So I thought I would try version 1.

Like I said is just ok. Younger person would like it more I think. Say 8 - I love the game due to my son thinks it rocks a great babysiteer for 20 mins - 40m ins a day!!! Dislike he doesn't like to put the game down hard time to have other intrests.
