Therefore, more text can be printed on a sheet of paper. However, if the margins are too close to the end of the paper and the text is heavy and saturated, the ink tends to smudge because the paper curls up while coming out of the printer. To prevent such smudging, HP LaserJet margins can be emulated.
Enabling this option helps prevent such problems by automatically scaling the document to fit within the margins. Driver language codes Language Code.
Self-extracting exe that automatically launches installer. Does not support Win Self-extracting exe for Add Printer Wizard installation. Self-extracting exe containing DJCP. Installer The advantages of using the installer are: Unattended installation: The installer provides the option of creating an unattended installer.
This unattended installer helps to save time for administrators working in a corporate environment. The only difference between the original package and the customized package are the language-dependent components. The Customization utility extracts one of the selected language components from the original installer.
This implementation is mainly due to caching MSI database on the user system after the first time installation. For instance, if the administrator only chooses to have one driver personality and the Toolbox without other accompanied components, the consequence is that other components will never get installed on the system for subsequent installations.
Uninstallation: It is recommended that the uninstallation should be performed using the uninstaller. If the uninstallation using the uninstaller fails then use the Scrubber utility. The Scrubber utility is provided to help clean up the system. Perform the following steps for uninstalling printer software as a best practice: First, uninstall the printer software.
Next, reboot the system. Lastly, use the scrubber utility. Provides roll back capability. This capability is triggered whenever the installer encounters errors. It ensures that the system restores to its initial state. Supports easy installation of printers using Root inf. Root inf facilitates hardware first installation. This in turn helps to locate information in the driver folder without having the user to locate the driver inf.
Gets launched automatically at the end of Hardware Wizard setup to install other software components, such as Toolbox and user guide. The installer has the following limitations: Requires a restart if MSI engine is updated during installation. Some applications may not be able to use the printer without reboot. Installer requires at least Internet Explorer 5. Unselected components are also present in the customized installer package. But those components would not be installed through silent installer.
Unable to support wireless Jetdirect boxes. Please use JetDirect Wizard installer to setup the printer using Jetdirect. Customized installer can be launched silently from a batch file. No user interaction is required.
